• 1 slice of multigrain bread
  • 1 thick slice of tomato
  • 1 slice of Middlefield Swiss
  • Garnishments: basil, pesto sauce


  1. Preheat oven broiler on low.
  2. Place the slice of bread on a baking sheet. Top with tomato and slice of cheese.
  3. Place in the oven. Broil until the cheese has melted and the bread is turning golden brown. Remove from oven.
  4. Garnish with fresh basil or dollops of pesto sauce.
